Appearance: Lotta isn't very tall (and really wishes that 5'3 wasn't plus the size of her hair), and she's not the skinniest girl in the world. She had natural curves for a girl who does a ton ofexercise but really can't control how much she eats. Despite her small stature she somehow makes herself look bigger and stronger than she actually is. She has a big redAfro, held back by a headband. She's got a big mouth for smiling and shouting, and tends to wear green often.
Personality: Lotta is, for the most part, overbearing, but a good person. She freaks out, is pushy, is bossy, and a really good friend. She's quick to judge and quick to change her her opinion, but not her mind. She forgives easily, and is generally easy to make friends with. She's a loud mouth with a short temper, and is always on the go. She's as excitable as she is generous, but not without a few tricks up her sleeves.
ROLEPLAY:
How Your Character Got to Malaise House: Lotta Hart was a witness to a murder--or at least she thought she was. She had always had a history of being a compulsive liar with anger issues, but it had never been on the record before. Now, because of this murder case, she fabricated a story just because the thought of being a witness seemed so exciting. She made up her account based on tiny bits of truth, but she did it allunconsciously . Deep down she knew she was lying, but she couldn't help it. To top it all off, when she was finally confronted on her lies, she snapped and threw the judge's gavel at the prosecution.
She now had two choices: serve jail time or go to a mental hospital to get help.
Not being a fan of closed spaces (plus the fact that she often dropped the soap in her own shower), she chose the latter.
Example Journal Entry:
HAVE ANY OF Y'ALL SEEN MAH LITTLE CASE OF FILM? There're like..........eight packs of unused film in there and darn I need it.
Yeah, I know the doc's here took mah camera away (MAH POOR BABY), but that's all right, 'cause I got a new one, a nice shiny new one, I think I'll name him Fooney, after that spiky haired lawyer who didn't yell at little ol' me. Or was it Feeny...nah, prolly Fooney. Who names their kid Feeny anyhoo? That's just retarded, dont'cha think? Kinda like namin' yer kid somethin' stupid like.....I'll think of somethin' later.
SO YEAH. LOOKIN' FOR MAH FILM. FILM FOR FOONEY! ooh, that's got a real nice ring to it!

Lotta Hart had never been a shy girl. She had first started making her hair big in the 8th grade, because until then, all she ever got was 'wow, you've got nice hair, you should straighten it'. She had never been a fan of straight hair, so by the 800th time, she gave up and poofed it to the sky. She had always been the first to get on someones case, and the first to admit she'd made a mistake (unless of course, it was from her lying, then she'd defend it to the death). She had always been the first to approach someone without hesitation, and now was no different.
She needed her camera badly, and all she had to do was ask, right? What harm could a camera do, so long as the flash was removed? It wasn't like she could kill someone with it, not without breaking it anyway. She would never hurt her dear Lola, ever. Lola had cost a pretty penny, and she wasn't stupid.
Lotta didn't get people's attention by tapping them on the shoulder or waiting for them to look at her. Instead, she slapped the rather official looking man in front of her hard on the back, a big grin on her face.
"Hey! Yer a doc here, right? You think ah could possibly get mah camera back?"
